Dr. Cernera is currently serving his second term as president of the International Federation of Catholic Universities, the oldest and largest international association of Catholic universities. He is also a professor of theology and former president of Sacred Heart University. Among his many board memberships, Dr. Cernera is a founding director of the Global Virus Research, Inc. He has written extensively on the Catholic intellectual tradition and and Catholic Jewish relations.
